Good morning everyone and welcome back to another Silencer Saturday brought to you by Yankee Hill Machine, manufacturers of the new Nitro N20 modular suppressor which should be in house by next weekend. Last week we finished off our review of the Curtis Tactical CT700P integrally suppressed 9mm bolt action rifle. This week, since the weather is so frightful, I thought I’d check my list for some 2020 suppressor Christmas gift ideas for your friends, family or even yourself.
TFB 2020 Suppressor Christmas Gift Ideas
With firearm and ammunition availability being about as bad as it was in Whoville the night before Christmas, this year’s list focuses on accessories and modification you can add to existing guns and silencers to make them easier to use. Thanks to Austin and the rest of the TFB family, I’ve found a limited supply of relevant ammo you might find interesting.
And since silencers are always a great gift, but will end up arriving long after the holiday season, I promise to put together a master list of cans you need to own in 2021.
Be safe, stay healthy and enjoy the season as much as you can. Thanks for reading TFB.

The Griffin Armament CAM-LOK™ interface affords the user the ability to convert the suppressor to a much faster and more secure mounting solution on browning style action (tilt barrel) pistols vs it’s legacy technology, single piece, direct thread piston counterparts. This system provides a rapid, secure attachment to the host pistol.
The CAM-LOK™ (Covert Application Mount – Locking) Universal piston system is comprised from two parts, the piston, and the barrel adapter. This product page is for the barrel adapter (smaller black component pictured).

The Osprey and Octane family of suppressors share pistons that are easily changeable for different host weapons or subcalibers. These pistons are also interchangeable between 45 and 9mm silencers. Pistons are constructed from 17-4 stainless steel and then heat treated for maximum durability. The piston is part of the Nielsen device that moves and allows semi-automatic cycling, but it also contains the female threads that attach to the muzzle of the host pistol or sub-gun. These pistons are easily interchangeable for compatibly with all relevant host guns and can be changed out to be compatible with subcaliber host guns, which means you can shoot smaller caliber rounds through the same suppressor, making it a multi- caliber silencer.
