BULLMANN Tactical GmbH from Germany is offering a new Glock Trigger Safety. I first thought this product was intended to be used like a holster, but if seems that this bikini-style cover is intended as a safety device. The product has two wings that click into place encapsulating the trigger guard of the Glock. You remove it by pushing forward on the front hook.

Remember that in Europe there is virtually no Open or Concealed Carry of firearms for civilians, so the market for holsters is significantly smaller and different from the USA.

In neon-yellow it’s quite easy to see that the trigger guard of the Glock is encapsulated. The black version is much more discrete.

Below you can find Bullmann’s description of the GClip:

The GClip is produced in Germany. The idea for the GClip came from the need to deal with everyday problems and the desire to be one step ahead of the opponent.

And below you can find a more detailed explanation, in German but with English subtitles, As you can see in the examples they use it as a holster, but it may actually be just as fast to carry the Glock without a round in the chamber and rack instead of removing the GClip?

The GClip works with Gen 3 and 4 Glock models: 17 / 19 / 19x / 20 / 22 / 23 / 25 / 26 / 29 / 30 / 31 / 32 / 36 / 38 / 40 / 41 / 42 / 43 / 44.

What do you think of the idea? If you want to use it as a bikini-style holster I think it would be possible with some minor modifications, or just use it as intended.
