The location in this Photo Of The Day is Poland where we take a peek at the U.S. Army 2nd Cavalry Troops as they offer support by fire during an evaluation exercise at Bemowo Piskie Training Area in November last year. The 2nd Cavalry is a vital part of the enhanced forward presence Battle Group’s mission to defend against any potential threat in the region.

Everyone prefers a 7.62 machine gun until it’s time to carry it around. Then the 5.56 will do just as well, if not better.
