Is the summer too hot for you? What about some snow at the Tux Alps at 2500 meters above sea level, in Austria. Here temperature fluctuations of over 30 degrees and wind forces up to 100 km/h are not uncommon. Here we have some scouts with one mission: several days of undetected infiltration and observation of various reconnaissance targets in the high mountains.
“See everything – do not be seen” is the motto of this specialized training of the mountain reconnaissance company. In addition to traditional observation, a drone system was also used. A particular challenge was the strong gusty wind, which demanded the full ability of the drone operator.
Their firearms are of course Steyr AUGs and Glocks.
