If you’re an EDC or pocket knife junkie then there is a new blade in town. The guys over at Tyrant Designs CNC have just announced their official presale for the new Tyrant Designs CNC (TDC) 001 and 002 knives. The new knives will both feature a 3-inch D2 tanto-point steel blade and what Tyrant Designs calls “beefy” linear locks with easy-to-use thumb studs. From what I can tell so far, the blades look to be quite stylish and have that telltale Tyrant Designs look to them with very angular shapes and flashy anodized highlights.

New TDC 001 and 002 Knives Available for Presale from Tyrant Designs
The two new knives will be available in either black on black or gold on black configurations and each edition will be slightly different. The TDC 001 features a more sleek and streamlined appearance while the TDC 002 offering has a more aggressive rubber grip texturing as well as more facets on the blade itself. The 001 variant also has rubber side grip panels but they appear to be untextured in the product photos but should still provide you with a decent grip!
Other features for the Tyrant Designs CNC knives include the use of ball bearings for the blades to ride on for smooth deployment and reversible deep-carry pocket clips. Both knife designs also feature an oversized linear lockup for an added layer of safety while using the deployed blade. The frames of both knives will be made from 6000 series anodized aluminum and both will feature chevron textured hard durometer rubber side panels. Both blades are also 50 state-legal but potential buyers should check their local laws first before purchasing a Tyrant Designs Blade. Both blades, regardless of color options are available now for $79.95 and have an estimated ship date of December 18th of 2021, although shipping in time for Christmas is not guaranteed. Each TDC blade comes with a free blade sticker and patch.
